290 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

THE YOGA OF MINDFULNESS, 290-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is currently in session. Our lead trainer, MyLinda, has over 40 years of experience in health and fitness, over  27 years of experience in yoga, and has been training teachers for over 20 years. MyLinda created a very special training that is packed full of mindful meditation and yogic practices to address our current (pandemic) stressful times. ❤️ 

This training consists of meditation, mindfulness, anatomy, alignment, chakras, yoga philosophy, neuroscience, sequencing, presence, voice quality, practice, the business of yoga, and much more!  

This training is offered in-person (limited space available), online, or a  combination (hybrid) of in-person and online training depending on each trainee's preference. Our Teacher Training Programs are registered with Yoga Alliance and exceed YA's NEW standards. Our training programs are registered with Yoga Alliance. About Vinyasa Yoga - 

Vinyasa yoga is a flowing, dynamic sequence of poses and one of the most popular styles of yoga within the United States today. Also called  Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga, and Power Vinyasa Yoga, this type of practice involves synchronizing the breath with a continuous flow of postures.  The fluid movements increase flexibility, strength, and stamina, as it calms the mind and improves overall health. “Vinyasa  means a gradual progression or a step-by-step approach that systematically and appropriately takes a student from one point and safely lands them at the next point. It is sometimes described as the  “breathing system,” or the union of breath and movement that make up the  steps.” – Maty Ezraty 


Our Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Programs Include: 

  • Slow Flow Yoga
  • Hot Flow Yoga
  • Vinyasa Flow
  • Chair Yoga
  • Yin Yoga
  • Meditation
  • Restorative Yoga


We meet for 10 sessions, 20 hours each session = 200 Hours

Teacher Training Curriculum Saturday & Sunday 8a-6p

  • Module 1 Feet & Foundation, 1st Chakra, Introduction to the Yoga Sutras
  • Module 2 Hips, Vinyasa Flow Foundations, 2nd Chakra Yoga Sutras
  • Module 3 Pelvis, Pelvic Bowl, SI Joint Health and Dysfunctions, 1st and 2nd Chakras
  • Module 4 Shoulders, 4th Chakra
  • Module 5 Core, 3rd Chakra
  • Module 6 Twists and Revolved Poses, 3rd and 4th Chakras
  • Module 7 Balancing Poses, 5th Chakra
  • Module 8 Backbends 1, 6th Chakra
  • Module 9 Backbends 2, 7th Chakra Final Projects 
  • Module 10 Hamstrings and Leg Stretches, GRADUATION

Weekend Agenda:

Saturday & Sunday 8a-6p

  • 8a-1p Anatomy, Alignment, & Asana Practice
  • 1p-6p Yoga Philosophy, Yoga Lifestyle, Teaching Methodology, & Practicum 


Tuition: TBA  check back for costs. **NOT INCLUDED WITH TUITION** Books, Props, Lodging, and Meals
